May 12th – The 20th annual Nation Food Drive – Stamp out Hunger. Letter Carriers will be collecting non-perishable food donations along their routes for delivery to local food banks. All you have to do is place any and all non-perishable food items by your mailbox on May 12th.
May 17th – Interagency is having their 25th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Auction at the Refuge Golf Course at 6pm. Cost is $50 per person. All proceeds benefit Interagency Programs.
May 19th – CRBIA 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament – Armed Forces Day. For more info please call 453-7755.
May 19th – 2nd Annual Kingman Wine and Food Festival at Firefighter’s Park from 11-6pm. Tickets are $15. ID’s will be checked at the door. Proceeds benefit the Mohave Community College Foundation.
Ongoing: Interagency Council’s Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mohave County is enrolling adults interested in being mentors in the Lake Havasu City area. If you are 21 years or older and interested in learning about mentoring a child, please call 928-453-5800 and ask for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Ongoing: Every Thursday Hospice of Havasu hosts a grief support group at the home office, 365 S. Lake Havasu Ave. at 5:30pm. No registration, no fee.
