Freedom Bridge Progress

MONDAY, JULY 28, 2008
Lake Havasu City workers broke ground on what will soon be the first section of the Memorial Walkway between the London Bridge and the planned Freedom Bridge.

The Memorial Walkway will consist of engraved bricks and historical markers documenting America's fight for freedom. Temporary bricks will be installed until the first engraved bricks arrive in less than two months. At that time a very special celebration will be held to celebrate the beginning of this beautiful addition to the Channel area.

The Freedom Bridge Foundation is a volunteer community group coordinating multiple fundraising activities to achieve four objectives.

Economic Growth * No Tax Burden

Phase One is the Memorial Walkway of brick pavers along the Channel, available for purchase to honor loved ones. The walkway will also include historical narratiaves of our country's most important freedom events.
